Save the Date: On April 1, the City of Key West and Waste Management will be holding the monthly free drop off for hazardous waste. The service, available to Key West residents only, is held at Indigenous Park on White Street from 8 a.m. until Noon. Items accepted will be household chemicals and electronics such as but not limited to: gasoline (in a leakproof container), oil, batteries, acids, poisons, cleaners, fertilizers, pool chemicals, TVs, microwaves, gaming systems, phones, computer parts and accessories, remote controls, etc. They will not accept any household garbage or appliances. Save the Date: The City Commission will meet in person on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 5PM at City Hall Commission Chambers. For those who prefer to watch the meeting, there are options: live stream from the City's website or watch on Comcast Channel 77 or AT&T U-verse Channel 99.

Save the Date: On Saturday, April 8, 2023, Key West Transit presents Senior Free Ride for Residents and Visitors. To ride the Bus in the City of Key West and Lower Keys Shuttle for free, you must be 60 years of age or older with a picture ID to confirm proof of age . Upon boarding the bus, show the Bus operator your ID.

Save the Date: On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, CEB will meet in person at City Hall in the Commission Chambers at 3:30 PM.

Reminder, the 42nd Annual 7-Mile Bridge Run is scheduled for Saturday, April 1, 2023!
The Bridge will close at 6:00 AM and will re-open promptly at 9:00 AM. Key West Transit wants to remind the community that the closure of the 7-Mile Bridge will affect the Lower Keys Shuttle. Shuttle service will be delayed until after 9 a.m. when the bridge reopens.
