FDOT Roadwork in Key West

FDOT work on South Roosevelt Boulevard and Whitehead Street.

FDOT began work on South Roosevelt Boulevard on Monday, January 30, 2023, from Bertha Street to the end of Smathers Beach. Daytime closures in both directions will be limited to one block at a time. Temporary closure of some side streets will be necessary. Parking is restricted in work zones. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, and access to residences and businesses will be maintained throughout the project. Sidewalks may be closed at times, and detours would be established along the promenade.

FDOT work on Whitehead Street began on Monday, January 30, 2023, between Fleming Street to Truman Avenue.
