Cruise Ships / Marine Services
There have been some exciting changes to the City's approach to managing our waterfront. The concept of these changes called for the consolidation of City waterfront responsibilities. This includes the deep-water port activities of Cruise Ships and of Navy vessel activity coordination.

Finance/Budget Department
The Finance Department is committed to the City's financial integrity, providing efficient and courteous assistance in all financial matters and effectively communicating the results of these efforts to the management and citizens of the City of Key West.

Fire Department - Class 1 ISO Rating
The Key West Fire Department is a full-service fire rescue dedicated to the promotion and protection of the well-being of residents and guests of our vibrant island city.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Division
Geographic Information System (GIS) uses computer hardware and software to explore how location impacts people. It can visualize and interpret data to show relationships, patterns, and trends which in turn helps with better decision making. Understanding geographic data is essential for citywide analysis, planning, and development.

Historic Key West City Cemetery
The Key West City Cemetery was established in 1847 following the disastrous hurricane of October 11, 1846, where the then beach-side cemetery was unearthed due to the winds and seas. This continues to be an active cemetery with about 100 interments a year. Within the fenced 19 acres lies between 80,000 to 100,000 people.

Historic Preservation Division (HARC)
A Certificate of Appropriateness is an issued document stating that the proposed work is appropriate for the historic district and meets the regulations in the land development regulations and Historic Architectural Review Commission Guidelines.

Historic Seaport/Marinas
Key West Bight Marina is nestled in the middle of the City of Key West's Seaport properties located in the Historic District. The Key West Bight is a twenty-acre facility that has become a major destination for those wishing to experience the ways of the old waterfront of Key West.

Human Resources
The City of Key West Human Resources Office promotes the recruitment, development and retention of highly motivated, well qualified individuals to provide efficient, effective and courteous service to the citizens of Key West.

Information Technology ( IT )
The Information Technology Department (IT) provides technology consulting and support services to all city departments. IT is also responsible for maintaining the city's complex infrastructure of networks, data, applications, web services, desktops, and mobile devices.

Key West City TV can be viewed on Key West Comcast channel 77, AT&T Uverse channel 99 or on the City website.

Housing and Community Development
The City of Key West Housing and Community Development Office administers city funds and programs designated for housing and community development. The office plans, develops and implements courses and activities that meet identified needs in the community, such as home ownership.

The General Services (Utilities) Department includes the following Divisions: Waste Water, Storm Water and Solid Waste, including the management of the City's Solid Waste and Hauling Contracts with Waste Management, Inc.
