National Register Plaques: Commemorative National Register of Historic Places plaques are up to the property owner's interest. As long as the plaques are on the exterior of the building or an existing concrete post, HARC does not regulate them.
Preservation Star: A preservation star is an award given out by the Historic Florida Keys Foundation to recognize excellence in preservation, restoration, rehabilitation, and new construction. Florida Historic Marker: The Florida Historical Marker Program is a popular program from the Division of Historical Resources. The purpose of this program is to raise public awareness of Florida’s rich cultural history and enhance the enjoyment of historic sites by citizens and tourists.
