The City of Key West collaborates closely with state and federal lawmakers to ensure that our island's needs are heard and supported.
Our team also creates helpful resources, such as briefs, memos, letters, and resolutions, to keep everyone informed and connected.
Each year, we set clear legislative priorities that guide our advocacy on issues important to the City and our community. The City Commission approves these priorities and helps shape how we engage with lawmakers, agencies, and funding opportunities.
Key focus areas include protecting our environment, supporting stormwater run-off and water quality, building resilience against flooding and storms, and securing funding that keeps Key West strong and sustainable.
