Welcome to our Risk Management site. The Risk Management Department coordinates the City’s safety and risk management functions. We are dedicated to minimizing or eliminating the exposure of City assets and resources to accidental and business loss.
We administer the City’s workers’ compensation, general liability & auto liability programs. We manage self-insurance programs and commercial insurance for risks not self-insured. Our services to City departments cover occupational health & infectious disease, injured employee return to work, employee safety, loss prevention, risk assessment, catastrophic property loss insurance recovery, and third party claims.
