Events Venue/Permit Guidelines
- Key West plays hosts a wide variety and many events that have become an important part of the community's tourist economy. A growing number of these events depend on the facilities the City of Key West made available and the essential support services only a municipality can provide. By making these facilities and services available to organizers at a reasonable cost, the City supports the successful staging of events without placing an undue financial burden on public resources or diminishing the level of services the municipality is required to provide to residents, businesses and visitors.
Important Information
Starting January 1, 2021, the Special Events Division will no longer accept cash or personal checks for event and film permits. The only form of payment accepted will be Money Orders and Cashier's Checks. Thank you.
