The City of Key West’s Employee Committee has selected Joseph Madrid as Employee of the Quarter. The honor was presented by HR Director Bridget Flores, who conveyed a message from Licensing Official Amanda Shouldice. Shouldice was unable to attend the meeting.

“Since the day Joseph joined the Licensing Department six years ago, there’s been one constant theme in every bit of feedback I’ve received about him: the incredible dedication to the people he serves,” wrote Shouldice. “While providing excellent service is an expected part of the job for any front desk employee, Joseph has truly elevated this responsibility. He takes pride in being the very first impression our customers have when they walk into City Hall, and he takes that responsibility to heart".

“It’s a privilege to have you on our team,” her message said, “and it’s my absolute honor to recognize you today for your outstanding service and the kindness you bring to City Hall every single day.”
