City's Latest Headlines Posted on March 19, 2026

Jamie MogerThe City of Key West wants to welcome Jamie Moger, our new Dockmaster at City Marina at Garrison Bight.

Moger has lived in the Keys for 33 years. He moved down from New York in 1993 to attend The College of the Florida Keys to get a degree in Marine Engineering.

After college he went into water sports and the jet ski rental business. In 1999, he started working for a boat builder on Stock Island, where they built several of the snorkel and sunset cruise catamarans that are based in the Key West Bight.

From 2010 until present, he has been a self-employed boat builder and marine electrician. He met his wife Lori 22 years ago at the Green Parrot, and they have been happily married for 10 years. He is excited about his new career with the City, and happy to still be working in the marine industry in the Florida Keys.
