The City of Key West is pleased to welcome our new HARC Inspector Steve Bostrom.

Bostrom grew up on the South Side of Chicago and, with his wife of 35 years and raised three children in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Fifteen years ago, their annual vacations brought them to Key West, where they were immediately enchanted by the island's beauty, charm, and sense of community, a strong connection that they decided to make their home in 2021.

Bostrom spent most of his professional life in real estate sales and development across southeast Wisconsin, earning a reputation for integrity and results. Alongside his career, he dedicated himself to public service, holding leadership roles including City of Kenosha Alderman, Kenosha County Supervisor, Chairman of the Regional Airport Commission, Vice Chairman of Public Works, and Commissioner of the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission.

Since moving to Key West, Bostrom says he has been inspired by the city's vibrant community and is honored to join the team serving its citizens. He looks forward to contributing to the city's ongoing legacy of excellence while becoming an active part of Key West's welcoming culture.
