On Monday, the Key West Fire Academy conducted fire extinguisher training at Station 3. The training covered several topics including the different types of fires, appropriate fire extinguisher usage, and handling techniques in emergency situations. It was a hands-on experience where the students had the opportunity to practice using fire extinguishers in simulated fire scenarios. The instructors provided detailed guidance on the proper use of extinguishers, emphasizing the importance of quick and effective action in containing fires.
