The Permit & Licensing Business Center serves as a central resource for businesses and development activity in the City of Key West. The office handles all building and zoning permits, ensuring that projects comply with local codes and land-use regulations. In addition, any individual or entity conducting business or holding themselves out as engaged in business within city limits must obtain a City of Key West Business Tax Receipt. This process helps maintain compliance with local requirements and supports the community's safe, orderly growth.
