Beginning today, spalling repair work is being conducted at the Martin Luther King Pool Facility. The construction is tentatively scheduled to take two months to complete.
Several pool areas will need to be blocked off during this construction process. The repairs are beginning in the woman’s shower restrooms, requiring that area to be closed through the holidays. There are restrooms on the east side of the building, and there is an exterior shower on the pool deck for use in rinsing.
Lifeguards and staff will be on hand to help direct patrons to access the pool.
