The Key West City Commission on Wednesday commended the Key West High School Varsity Lady Conch’s Softball Team for displaying tenacity, strength, and determination throughout their 2021 season. The team earned a District 16 Championship title and advanced to the Region 4-4A Semifinals, competing among the top teams in the state.
“The team is built on a foundation of hard work and dedication,” reads the commendation. “The players, coaches and supporters display a high level of respect for the game, their teammates, their opponents, and the community with true Conch Pride.”
