[ARCHIVED] Key West NO Longer Under a Tropical Storm Warning

The City of Key West has opened an information hotline at 305-809-1101. In addition, Monroe County has up-to-date information at on their emergency management webpage.

City crews are cleaning up storm drains and downed trees and palm fronds on public property in the wake of Tropical Storm Elsa.

City offices and City services will resume normal operation Wednesday, July 7th.

The Special City Commission Meeting originally slated for today is rescheduled to Monday, July 12th at 5 p.m.

Trash pickup has been shifted forward by one (1) day. If your scheduled pickup day is Tuesday, it will now be picked up Wednesday. Wednesday trash service will now be picked up on Thursday. Thursday trash service will be now on Friday and Friday trash service will now be on on Saturday.

“This was a good practice run,” said City Manager Patti McLauchlin. “Our entire team pulled together and was ready to act."
