Mayor Teri Johnston and the City Commission Tuesday commended the Key West All Stars 10u Team for earning the honor of participating in its first All Stars World Series.

Twenty teams from all over the United States will play in the World Series, which runs from August 6th to the 13th in Palm Beach Gardens.

Key West has a rich and storied baseball history with many talented, excellent Little League teams through the years. This All Star 10u Team represents the pride the community takes in its children.

“This special baseball opportunity,” reads the commendation, “is the result of hard work and great effort by the 10u All Star coaches and the baseball families.”
