Community Health of South Florida, Inc (CHI) provides top-quality, affordable health care in Bahama Village. The facility's grand opening opened after the ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 9. The Mayor of Key West, Teri Johnston, City Commissioner Clayton Lopez, and City Manager Patti McLauchlin were in attendance, as were other members of the Key West Community to welcome CHI. Commissioner Clayton Lopez noted that seeing the city property at 727 Fort Street transformed into CHI was a fundamental goal of his time in office. Mayor Teri Johnston proclaimed December 9 as CHI Day.
