The Key West Fire Department invites the community to a very special dedication to the new home of Ms. Alelia Butler. The gathering is to recognize the amazing generosity of all those in this community who made the home a reality.
The dedication is at 813 Galveston Lane at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22nd.
In January of 2019, the Key West Fire Department responded to a fire in the early morning hours. They arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames. The homeowner, Ms. Butler, barely got out alive, but she lost everything.
The community responded immediately. Thanks to an amazing group of people, led by Key West Fire Department Capt. Jason Barroso and the generous donations of many, she will, on Wednesday, be moving into her newly constructed home.
