[ARCHIVED] Storm Debris Cleanup Wraps Up This Week

City Seal

As the City of Key West prepares for its busiest season, kicking off with Goombay this coming weekend, it's time to wrap up debris removal from Hurricane Ian.

Key West residents and business owners are reminded that all storm-related debris needs to be set out by now, as City-sponsored cleanup will be finished this week.

This is a reminder NOT to put out bulk that is not storm-related.  You cannot put out more than two cubic yards for bulk pickup and must call Waste Management to arrange for pickup.  It is necessary to call Waste Management before putting out bulk waste.  Failure to make an arrangement with Waste Management shall result in a code violation.

Please be sure to separate vegetative debris from appliances and building debris.  Household garbage must be put in trash collection bins for regular pickup.
